Solo

Besides being a member of many ensembles, Marei Seuthe appears more and more as a soloist, too. So she was playing at lectures (e.g. at the festival "open worlds") and  developed together with composer Dietmar Bonnen the piece "archet-en-ciel" out of three versions of a solo improvisation in connection with photos of sculptures by Tony Cragg. Moreover she performs her solo program out of own compositions and improvisations. Some of these pieces she produced in a studio in order to publish a solo CD. Recently she developed a solo performance called "Lore Ley’s Comb" in which she plays her cello with a comb.
